Michigan Delivery Driver Shoots Family Dog on Easter…Now It’s Missing
If you're an animal lover, you're not going to like this.
A family in Livonia is desperately searching for their dog, Daisy, after a delivery driver shot her on Easter Sunday…then disappeared.
According to Fox 2 Detroit, it happened in a neighborhood off Farmington Road, just south of 8 Mile. According to the family, they weren’t even home at the time. The driver was dropping off a Walmart order…nothing big, just a lousy package of Peeps…when something went wrong.

Why a Delivery Driver Shot a Family Dog in Livonia
The driver told police he was “scared” and ended up shooting the dog. He does have a CPL and stayed at the scene to talk with officers, so it’s not like he just took off after it happened. He stuck around and cooperated.
None of that changes the fact that Daisy is just…gone.
I don’t get it. Was the dog actually attacking him? Did he try to get away first? Or did he just get scared, pull out a gun, and shoot?
Because pulling a gun feels like a last resort…unless this was just a split-second reaction.
All of this happened in a quiet subdivision, in the middle of the day, on a holiday. And it’s still unclear how Daisy even got outside in the first place.
Livonia Family Still Searching for Dog After Delivery Driver Shooting
The family has been looking for days. They even hired a drone to search the area, but still nothing.
The big question now is what happens next. Walmart says drivers are allowed to legally carry, and so far, no word on any charges.
In the meantime, the family is asking neighbors to check anywhere a scared dog might hide…under decks, bushes, anywhere.
At this point, they just want answers…one way or another.
