Michigan natives Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker surprised fans with an unexpected appearance at a Jimmie Bones & The Snakebit Wanderers show in Milford.

If you're not familiar, Jimmie Bones is an exceptionally talented musician. He serves as the keyboardist and backing vocalist for Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band, and he played a key role in the creation of Uncle Kracker's debut album, Double Wide.

Bones has collaborated with legends such as Bob Seger, Billy Gibbons, Mark Farner, Sheryl Crow, and many others.

The surprise event took place last night, Thursday, July 31, at the LaFontaine Family Amphitheater. It was a significant evening, as Jimmi Bones, who was recently diagnosed with ALS, will be stepping back to prioritize his health and spend more time with his family.

Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker jumped on stage with the band to perform 'Drift Away', originally by Dobie Gray and later covered by Uncle Kracker.

As you would expect, videos of the moment quickly made their way to social media. Check out a few below.

Also worth noting, Kid Rock’s rocking a Machine Shop hat, which is a pretty cool touch. He has made it very clear that The Machine Shop in Flint is his favorite Michigan music club.

Huge shoutout to Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker for not only showing love to the fans, but even more so for showing up in support of Jimmie Bones.

We are definitely wishing Jimmie Bones the best and look forward to seeing him back on stage, doing what he does best.
