Halo Burger in Downtown Flint to Feature Cops & Doughnuts Bakery
Halo Burger is reopening in downtown Flint on Saginaw Street, and the anticipation is building.
If everything goes according to plan, the iconic location is set to reopen in April 2026.
You may recall that Michigan Public reported a partnership between Halo Burger and Cops & Doughnuts in 2025. The first Cops & Doughnuts bakery opened in 2009, when a group of police officers joined forces to save a struggling bakery in Clare, Michigan.
The reopening of the classic Halo Burger in downtown Flint is already exciting, and the addition of Cops & Doughnuts makes it even sweeter. According to MLive, Halo Burger will occupy the front of the building, while Cops & Doughnuts will be in the back.

The reaction on social media to Halo Burger reopening at 800 South Saginaw Street has been overwhelmingly positive. Fans are excited to see a piece of downtown Flint history returning.
