Gene Simmons at Rock & Brews Grand Opening in Royal Oak

Gene Simmons of KISS will be at the official grand opening of Rock & Brews Restaurant in Royal Oak.

Rock & Brews is a rock‑themed casual eatery created by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, along with additional business partners.

The original Rock & Brews opened in 2012 near Los Angeles, and since then, the brand has expanded to locations across multiple states, including Florida, Kansas, Texas, and Wisconsin.

The doors at the new Royal Oak location will open on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. However, the official grand opening will be celebrated with Gene Simmons on Thursday, April 9th, 2026.

I can already see KISS fans lining up now.

Not much information about Gene’s visit has been released. Who knows - maybe a special Gene Simmons Meet & Greet package will be offered, for a fee, of course.

All kidding aside, it is very cool that Gene Simmons will be in Michigan for the occasion.

Where is Rock & Brews located?

Rock & Brews Restaurant is at 208 West Fifth Avenue in downtown Royal Oak, 48067.

The place features three levels,

Level 1: Dining Area
Level 2: Bar & Concert Stage
Level 3: Roof Top Sky-Lounge

According to FOX 2 Detroit, when the venue opens on March 19th, the evening will feature live music from The Wildflowers (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers tribute band).
