Bryan Cranston Coming to Grand Rapids for ArtPrize 2026

Actor Bryan Cranston will be a featured guest at ArtPrize 2026 in Grand Rapids.

The popular Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston will be in Grand Rapids for ArtPrize, where he will promote his Dos Hombres tequila and will appear at the ArtPrize Awards Celebration on October 3rd, 2026.

According to WZZM 13, Dos Hombres is the official sponsor of ArtPrize.The brand was created by Cranston and his fellow Breaking Bad co-star, Aaron Paul.

What is ArtPrize?

ArtPrize is a huge art competition. Artists from all over bring their work to the city, and you can find it displayed in galleries, museums, businesses, restaurants, and even outside. It is a pretty cool event because art can be found just about everywhere you look.

I have gone a few times over the years, and have never been disappointed.

When is ArtPrize in Grand Rapids?

Preview Week runs from September 12, 2026, through September 17, 2026. ArtPrize officially kicks off on September 18, 2026, and ends on October 3, 2026.

Who knows, you may even catch a glimpse of the famous actor before the awards ceremony. With his tequila brand being the official sponsor, I would say that sounds totally reasonable.

If you plan to attend, I would recommend staying for a few days, if possible. There is so much to see and do throughout the city during ArtPrize, and you definitely won’t want to rush through it.

Especially with Dos Hombres being featured in bars and restaurants throughout the city. Art, Bryan Cranston, and tequila - count me in.
