STOP! Michigan Goodwills Don’t Want These 19 Items
If you're like many this time of year, you've probably started to think about spring cleaning and donating all those items you no longer use to Goodwill.
Besides the fact that it's the time of year to do some deep cleaning, I know that I have items around my house that I just don't use anymore.
I could try to have a garage sale. But, I would rather get them all out of my house at once, and why not help a good cause while I'm doing it? If you feel the same, have you thought about donating items to Goodwill?
Goodwill in Michigan
If you're working on spring cleaning and trying to purge items from your house, Goodwill is a fine place to consider making your donations. There are locations all over the state of Michigan and you can use what you donate as a tax write-off.
However, not everything that you want to purge from your house will be able to be donated to Goodwill.
What Can You Donate to Goodwill?
Certain items can and cannot be donated to Goodwill. You're safe to donate things like gently used clothes, shoes, books, jewelry, housewares, toys, and more. But when it comes to other things that are lying around your house, you'll want to double-check before you take them to Goodwill.
Before you start your spring cleaning and begin to set aside things to purge and donate, take a look through the gallery below to see what items Goodwill in Michigan will not accept.
