This Honda ‘Custom’ on Lansing Facebook Marketplace Is Surprisingly Street Legal
Facebook Marketplace can be a dumpster fire when it comes to finding something normal for sale. Sure, most of it's just basic furniture items, and little odds and ends.
But once in a while, you come across some real gems, and this gem of a vehicle in Lansing came across my feed the other day, and I cannot tell you... how badly I at least want to see this vehicle in person. Hell, I might even put in an offer.
Cars pop up on Facebook Marketplace from time to time, and this one in Lansing is easily, equal parts Incredible, and a literal trash heap... but at least it's shiny and bright... in some places.
The seller listed it as a "Honda Custom," and if I had to guess, it looks like they tried to turn a Carola into a Cybertruck, but by using corrugated aluminum sheets, rain gutters for your home, and those TikTok LED light strips.
But hear me out... I kinda love it.
The seller does describe this as a Fully Custom Built Hybrid - so it is at least partially electric like a Cybertruck would be. It's 100% street legal, no mechanical issues, and has everthing you'd need, including a remote for the LED lights for color changing options.
The post does ask that anyone who has interest, or wants to message them be respectful, because the vehicle might not be for everyone, and "that's understandable."
It's for sure unique, and would turn some heads. Worst case scenario, you buy a fully functional vehicle, and replace all the body work later on (it's your vehicle at that point, do what you want). But in the buying market right now, finding a reliable hybrid, even if it does look a little strange, is tough to come by.
