Watch what happens when elderly residents of a Seattle nursing home are paired with preschool students. It's called the Intergenerational Learning Center, where a preschool is located inside the Providence Mount St. Vincent senior care center.

The project is such a success, filmmaker Evan Briggs hopes to bring it to the big screen. She is currently using Kickstarter to raise money to fund the project.

She tells ABC News that residents of the facility did a "complete transformation in the presence of the children. Moments before the kids came in, sometimes the people seemed half alive, sometimes asleep. It was a depressing scene. As soon as the kids walked in for art or music or making sandwiches for the homeless or whatever the project that day was, the residents came alive."
