It's Finally Here! Motor City Comic Con is This Weekend

After two-plus years, Motor City Comic Con is finally back.

All of us nerds can finally reunite at Motor City Comic Con this weekend. I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that this is now back. Taking the kids to Motor City Comic Con has been a tradition for me and my friends for many years now. With the pandemic shutting the world down, the absence of this event in 2020 bummed the kids out more than most things.

When will Motor City Comic Con be open this weekend?

The schedule for Motor City Comic Con is as follows:

Friday, October 15th - Noon until 7 pm
Saturday, October 16th - 10 am until 7 pm
Sunday, October 17th - 10 am until 5 pm

Where is Motor City Comic Con?

The event will be taking place at the Suburban Collection Showplace at 46100 Grand River Avenue in Novi. The venue was renovated a couple of years ago and made to be way larger. Unfortunately, they've only been able to hold one Comic Con there since the expansion so I'm very excited to get back there.

What celebrity guests will be at Motor City Comic Con this weekend?

Motor City Comic Con has a great lineup of celebrity guests this year. Some of the guests include:

Adam Scherr (a.k.a. Braun Strowman)
Alexander Ludwig from The Hunger Games, Lone Survivor, Bad Boys for Life, and more.
Elijah Wood. Yes, Frodo Baggins himself will be there.
Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things.
Ice-T and Coco
James Jude Courtney - Michael Myers from 2018's Halloween.
Meat Loaf
Ming-Na Wen from The Joy Luck Club, ER, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and more.

Unfortunately, there were some guests that had to cancel this year including Breckin Meyer, Catherine Tate, David Koechner, Denis Lawson, and Mario Lopez.
