Interview: Lisa Marie Talks with John Waite

Singer songwriter John Waite has given us some of the most relatable and enduring songs over the past 40 years. From his earliest days with "The Baby's" through his time with "Bad English" and his successful solo career, Waite has given his fans song that resonate with the stories of their lives.

I had a chance to chat with Waite just a few days out from his show at The Machine Shop on Friday, October 4th.  He talked of his  early years in the business  and feeling very lucky and blessed with the success he has had throughout his career. Currently out on the road, Waite is heading back to the studio with a new album in the works for release early next year. You can listen to the full interview below.

From his early songs like 1977's “Isn’t it Time” to his mega hit "Missing You", Waite loves creating songs that tell a story with a twist and putting passion into his music.
