Huey Lewis Talks to Kelly Clarkson About Hearing Loss [VIDEO]

Huey Lewis opened up to Kelly Clarkson on her daytime talk show about his hearing loss and how he's learned to cope with his diminished ability to hear.

Lewis was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease 30 years ago but said it only affected the hearing in his right ear.

"I existed on one ear for most of this time," he said. "And now two years ago (two years and a month) I lost [the hearing in] my left ear."

He goes on to say that sometimes his level of hearing loss fluctuates, but notes that the worst part is not being able to hear music.
