Holly Marching Band Trip to Ireland Canceled Due To Coronavirus
However, they are in talks to possibly replicate the trip next year at this time.
The Holly marching band should've been on a plane by now, headed to Dublin, Ireland to march in the city's St. Patrick's Day parade. However, much like the NBA and many music festivals, Dublin has decided to cancel their parade due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The superintendent of Holly schools released a statement, saying that they are working with the tour company to get students and parents full refunds.
And then, there was some good news - they've been in contact with the parade organizers to possibly have Holly come back for next year's parade. Graduating seniors would have the option still participate or to sell their package to an incoming freshman.
