Don't Hate the Roundabouts
People love to hate roundabouts, but research shows that they have proven to be safer with fewer life-threatening accidents occurring at roundabouts than standard intersections or four-way stops. In fact, roundabouts decrease injury accidents by as much as 75% compared to standard intersections.
As roundabouts are increasingly becoming part of our everyday lives, two new ones are in the works for our area.
- The intersection of Morrish and Lennon roads is slated to become a roundabout sometime in 2023.
- A roundabout is also planned for Lapeer Rd. and Oak Rd. in Davison.
