Heinz Recalls Jars of Gravy Days Before Thanksgiving

We have all taken the easy and quick rout once or twice and used a jar of gravy for a big meal. If this is you this Thanksgiving, check the label on your gravy before you serve it to your family.

Heinz is recalling some of their 12-ounce jars of gravy that were accidentally mislabeled. Why is this a big deal? The mislabeled jars of pork gravy are actually Heinz HomeStyle Bistro Au Jus Gravy, which contain milk and soy. For those with allergies, this mix up could be harmful.

The product being recalled is the Heinz 12-ounce jar of HomeStyle Pork Gravy with a use by date of 12/28/2017, and a UPC code of 013000798907. If you have one of these jars of gravy you can return it to the store for a full refund or exchange.
