Health Dept. Confirms Worker at Fenton Restaurant Infected With Hepatitis A
The Genesee County Health Department has confirmed that a worker at Fenton Winery and Brewery has been infected with Hepatitis A.
Anyone who consumed food or drinks between May 26th and May 31st needs to be vaccinated. The health department is holding a special walk-in vaccine clinic at its S. Saginaw office until 7:30 pm.
Bottled wine products purchased at the establishment are not affected.
The health department says the virus is typically spread from person to persons through contact with unclean hands. Symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, headache, dark urine, and vomiting.
