There are a ton of events going on this weekend, including the Greek Festival at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. It's a great event which will include dancing, activities, food and more. You need to stop by this event, just to sample the food because it's delicious. It's all home made by the ladies at the church, so you know it's going to be really good.

Of course you can't go wrong with the Flint Farmers' Market, which opens at 8am tomorrow. Before you shop, have some breakfast or if you're feeling ambitious, a group of walkers and runners meet there at 8:30 to get some exercise.  The market always has fresh produce at great prices.

If you can't make it to the Flint Farmers' Market, there's always Sunday when the Grand Blanc Farmers' Market is open. They always have different activities going on every week, along with vendors, a bounce house and more. This weekend, the Flint Banjo Club is playing.

Or if the kids are into art, take advantage of Free Target Saturday's at the Flint Institute of Arts. While you're there, you can also sign your kids up for summer camp and other programs they have for kids.

Summer reading sign up also continues at various library locations throughout Genesee County. There's also going to be a Korean martial arts demonstration at the Flushing Area Library. Your kids can win a lot of great prizes with summer reading, so don't wait to sign them up. The Genesee District Library has other activities and programs throughout the summer, so stop in to any of their 19 locations to find out what else is going on.

Injury Prevention Services at Genesys is also offering free bike helmet fittings tomorrow from noon to 3pm at Bicentennial Park in Grand Blanc. They're goal is to educate riders on the proper fit for a bicycle helmet and it's for all ages.

Whatever you decide to do this weekend, enjoy it and relax if you can.
