Grandma Arrested for Bringing Doritos Bag With Drugs Into Jail [VIDEO]
An elderly woman could spend one to six years in jail after attempting to deliver a Doritos bag full of contraband to her grandson in jail.
Sarah Griffin says she was duped. The 68-year-old Memphis woman claims she was only trying to sneak a cellphone to her grandson, Cody Clements. The Doritos bag, which she picked up from a woman before her visit, actually contained marijuana, meth, Xanax, and heroin.
Griffin spent three days in jail for bringing contraband into a penal facility. She could face a Class E felony which carries a sentence of one to six years in jail as well as a fine of up to $3,000.
