Governor Gretchen Whitmer is slashing the amount of money spent on support for persons with autism throughout the state of Michigan. It appears that more than $350 million will be cut from the state's budget.

This news comes just days after Michigan's governor axed millions of dollars from the state's budget for the Pure Michigan campaign.

According to NBC-25, $350 million is being cut from the school aid budget for autism intervention. Another $1.3 million is being cut from the Autism Navigator program run by Autism Alliance. This cuts Autism Alliance's yearly budget nearly in half.
