Goodrich Singer Returning to ‘American Idol’ For Another Round
Back in 2018 Genavieve Linkowski of Goodrich wowed the judges on 'American Idol'. Her version of Jason Mraz’s song “I Won’t Give Up" earned her a golden ticket to Hollywood and it looks like she's ready to take the stage again.
Linkowski announced via a Youtube video that she will be showcasing her talents once more for the upcoming 18th season of the hit show when it airs in February. The 21-year-old announced she was contacted to audition for the show's new season which will again find judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie searching for the next big star.
In 2018 Linkowski made it through the second round of the show and has since been busy performing around the country including the National Anthem at Detroit Lions games.
Of course Genavieve could not disclose whether she advances past the open audition round again, but with such talent and all of us behind her, we're betting on success. 'American Idol' will debut February 16th on ABC.
