Genesee Twp. Man Starts a Food Stand During Pandemic – The Good News
More good deeds coming from our Michigan community during this tough time.
Tom Kehoe lives in Genesee Township and wanted to help people during the COVID-19 outbreak, so he set up a free food stand for struggling families last weekend.
The stand is on North Genesee Road, not far from Mott Lake and Stepping Stone Falls. It's a "take what you need" situation, and people are encouraged to drop off items as well.
Kehoe wanted to start something that was easier to access than a grocery store for people who need food immediately - no lines, no requirements. As Tom told ABC 12 News, it's a "small little place to fill a small little need."
