And he does it in honor of the women in his life.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams has dedicated part of his life to fighting the disease that took his mom's life - breast cancer.

In 2015, he started the DeAngelo Williams Foundation to cover the costs of mammograms for women. He lost his mother to the disease in 2014 and all four of his aunts before they turned 50.

In the four years that have passed, his foundation has paid the cost of mammograms for 500 women in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Arkansas, and North Carolina.
