Ford Is Turning Michigan Central Station into a Haunted House
But it'll only be open for ONE DAY, so be prepared to wait in line.
A Ford spokesperson confirmed yesterday that they are planning to turn the first floor of the previously-abandoned Michigan Central Station into a haunted house for Halloween.
The attraction will be free to the public, but they're only planning on having it open for one day, either sometime the week of or the day of Halloween.
They're putting an emphasis on getting Corktown residents into the haunted house because Ford is calling them an "impact area."
This is such a cool idea, but I think that their only mistake will be limiting it to one day. I'm sure it's a massive undertaking to open a haunted house ANYWHERE, especially when you're not charging admission. But ONE DAY? Then again, if it's free, they're not worried about making money.
