That was a close one!

Mlive is reporting that yesterday afternoon, the renovation of the Capitol Theater in downtown Flint was almost dealt a very heavy setback in the way of a dumpster fire.

About 5:30 p.m. a fire was reported on Harrison Street in one of the mega dumpters that are parked outside of the theater. Not sure yet how the fire was started, but fire crews were able to put out the blaze and there was no apparent damage to the theater that is set to open this fall or early 2018.
