Flint Sailor Stands Watch in Combat Defense Center Aboard U.S. Navy Warship

Pictured above is Operations Specialist 2nd Class Craig Gipson, hard at work aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. Gipson, who hails from Flint Michigan stands watch in the combat defense center of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76).

Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, as well as the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.

We salute Mr. Gibson and his fellow Naval officers as they serve and protect our country.
