Flint K-9 Officer Could be Sold to Another Area Police Department
But, he's such a good boy!
Mlive is reporting that the Flint Police Department is asking the Flint City Council for approval to sell one K-9 officer, Sonitrol, to a neighboring police department because the handler took a job in the department.
The Flint Police are looking into getting the K-9 over to the Metro Police Authority of Genesee County, where the handler took a job. The reasoning behind this $15,000 sale would be to keep the dog with the original handler and to use the funds to get another K-9 officer and handler to train.
