Filming Set to Begin in Flint for Michigan Lip Dub [VIDEO]
The creators of the highly successful Grand Rapids lip dub video are about to roll tape on the Vehicle City.
Rob Bliss and Jeff Barrett, whose business consulting firm has been contracted by Pure Michigan to create the video, will be in Flint today, and plan to start filming at 7:10 pm. Filming will take place downtown, along South Saginaw between Second Street and First Avenue, and will proceed north. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to arrive early.
The three -and-a-half-minute video will highlight 50 cities in Michigan, and will feature the song 'Good Time' by Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen.
Tentatively, the video is scheduled to debut on YouTube September 5th.
The Grand Rapids lip dub (below) has been viewed 4.9 million times on YouTube. Traverse City residents participated in a similar project last year.
