Domino's Closing More Than 200 Locations Worldwide

While there are no plans to close any Michigan stores, the move to close more than 200 locations worldwide is expected to generate about $9.4 million in annual savings for Domino's Pizza Enterprises.

The majority of the closures will take place in Japan, with 172 planning to close between April and June 2025. An additional 30 locations throughout Europe and Asia will close their doors as well. As of this writing, Domino's has not announced the closure of any Michigan or US locations.

In a statement to The Street, the franchisee's Group CEO Mark Van Dyck said Domino's experienced growth in Japan during the pandemic, but some of those stores are no longer viable based on the company's current standards.
