Dog Recovering After Leg Amputated With Garden Shears, Kitchen Knife [VIDEO]

The Michigan Humane Society and Hamtramck officials are working to bring charges against an individual who allegedly cut off a dog's leg off using garden shears and a kitchen knife.

A suspect has been identified and a warrant request has been submitted to the prosecutor's office.

A spokesman for the Michigan Humane Society says adult black Labrador retriever's right rear lower leg was removed in the individual's home in Hamtramck.
