Diner Picks Up Tab for 40 Military Members at Michigan Restaurant [PHOTO]
And they only had one request - to remain anonymous.
About 40 military members arrived to have lunch at the Corner Bar in Rockford, just outside of Grand Rapids on Wednesday. The soldiers were in training at the Belmont Armory.
A guest, who wished to remain anonymous, asked to speak to a manager - and offered to pick up the tab for all of the service men and women. The bill was around $200, and the guest left a 25% tip. The manager also took 20% off the bill.
Sometimes, the best acts of kindness come from those who are the most quiet. Something to be said for paying it forward without a lot of fanfare, am I right?!
