Watch: Michigan Cop Uses Taser to Threaten 10-Year-Old Nephew
A Detroit Police officer is facing child abuse charges after he allegedly threatened his young nephew with a department-issued taser.

In the clip, you'll see 21-year-old Caleb Williams arc his police taser while standing next to the 10-year-old boy. The incident allegedly took place at a home on East Outer Drive in Detroit.
Detroit Police Officer Faces Multiple Charges
The rookie officer was charged on Friday, April 26 with second-degree child abuse and felonious assault, according to Detroit TV station WDIV-TV.
Williams received a $10,000 personal bond, conditions of which require that he not possess weapons and have no contact with minors.
The Detroit Police Department says Williams is currently suspended with pay.
Prosecutor's Office Reacts
The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office released a statement after Police Chief James White reviewed the video.
"Officer Williams's actions as depicted on the video constitute gross violations of the DPD's internal policies and procedures. After video of this incident surfaced, Chief White personally reviewed the footage and immediately ordered the officer suspended and the case referred to Internal Affairs."
According to WJBK-TV, Williams is expected to appear in court on May 3 for a probable cause conference, followed by a preliminary exam on May 9.
