Detroit Police Officer Fired for ‘Zoo Animals’ Snapchat
Social media is killing more jobs than the great recession! HEY OH!
Remember back in the day, when people hid their racism? That was nice.
27-year-old Sean Bostwick posted the picture to his Snapchat with the caption before his shift on Sunday. A former Detroit police officer posted a screenshot of it to Facebook and it quickly went viral. Bostwick was still considered a "new hire" and was still on probation.
Really, all that means is that he can be fired faster.
James Craig, the police chief, said that Bostwick expressed remorse for the picture and said that it was "misinterpreted."
Mmmmmmhmmmmm.
Regardless, he's out of a job. And that's probably not a bad thing. P.S., Sean - it's "WRANGLE," not "rangel." That's not even a word.
