
Active Shooter at Henry Ford Hospital Leaves Woman Dead
A man fatally shot his ex-wife Friday morning inside the basement of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, authorities say. The suspect, 65-year-old Mario Green, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Police are actively searching for him.
The hospital was briefly placed on lockdown as a precaution, which has since been lifted. Officials are urging anyone with information about Green’s whereabouts to contact the Detroit Police Department and caution the public not to approach him.
Suspect Information
According to WXYZ-TV, police say Green left the hospital driving a 2011 white Dodge Charger with the license plate DXC7067. Witnesses report he was wearing all black with a gold chain.

Green is presumed to be armed and dangerous.
"We expect to have him in custody very, very shortly," DPD Chief Todd Bettison told the TV station.
Victim Details
Green’s wife, about 40 years old, was an employee at Henry Ford Hospital. She had reportedly filed for a personal protection order against Green about a month ago.
