Nothing more important than the relationship between a community and its law enforcement, right?

On Tuesday, police officers from Davison Township, Richfield Township, the city of Davison and Michigan State Police made a stop at Hahn Intermediate School during the students' recess.

They enjoyed lunch with the students (which of course included hot dogs), and then stayed outside with the kids for recess. Members of the Davison Richfield Fire Department also stopped by.

As a kid who grew up on the south side of Chicago, I can't tell you how refreshing this is. Our view of law enforcement in my neighborhood was not GOOD, and nobody ever did anything like this to try and change it. Kudos, Davison!
