A change to who you get your cable and internet from could soon be coming for many Michigan residents.

The Detroit Free Press reports that except for a small part of southwest Michigan, every Comcast cable and internet subscriber - including those in Flint - could be transferred to a new company. The moves would come as part of a way for Comcast to gain regulatory approval for its proposed purchase of Time Warner. The transfer, possibly with Charter Communications, would affect 2.5 million customers nationwide, including nearly all of Michigan.

Some may look at this as good news as cable costs have skyrocketed while customer service has gone down. Are you looking forward to a new cable provider?
