More than one-third of Central Michigan University's campus was damaged in June when Mt Pleasant had all that heavy rain. The repairs from all the damage are expected to cost the university between $7 million and $10 million.

Classes start at CMU on Monday, August 28th. The university says they are ready to welcome the students back to class, and they most likely won't notice a difference. In the two months since the flood CMU has been working to repair as much of the damage as possible before they welcome students back to campus.
