Click-It-or-Ticket: Michigan Police Crack Down on Seatbelts Until June
Just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Put that seatbelt on!
As of yesterday, Michigan police are starting their annual campaign to crack down on those who are not wearing seatbelts.
Their annual "Click-it-or-ticket" campaign goes until June 3rd. The Michigan State Police say that we, as a state, have a better overall average of drivers buckling up than nationally. If you get caught and you're not belted in, the fine is $65.
Honestly though, are there STILL people out there who don't use their seatbelt? I mean, I know there's a million people who don't use their turn signal (I see you and you drive me NUTS), but the seatbelt thing is so old school. Why NOT wear it?
