Summer weather is here with a vengeance and that probably means you're drinking more water. But one company is noting that keeping water bottles in your vehicle may be a risk.

Idaho Power released the video below explaining how a water bottle could be enough to ignite a fire in your vehicle.

The bottle -- if positioned just right -- could act as a magnifying glass and the sun's rays, beaming into a car on a hot day could be enough to ignite papers, trash, or even upholstery.

An employee for Idaho Power says that he was eating lunch when he started to see smoke out of the corner of his eye. A water bottle, which was lying on the seat next to him, was intensifying the sun's rays and beginning to burn a hole in the seat.

The employees later tested the theory and found that the temperature inside the truck reached 213 degrees.
