Be right back, somebody is cutting onions in here.

It started on February 26th when Thomas Daniel missed his bus to school in Grand Rapids. Officer Austin Lynema saw Thomas crying and chasing after his bus, and attempted to stop it but was unsuccessful.

The officer found out that it was Thomas's 9th birthday, and he got permission to drop the boy off at school. Thomas was so grateful that he invited the Grand Rapids police officers to his party later that day. He said he was afraid nobody would show up because he gets bullied at school.

And the officers did, in fact, show up to Thomas's party later that day, along with his family. They brought donuts that spelled out 'Happy Birthday,' a goodie bag with hats and t-shirts and even a singing quartet.

Thank you, officers!!!!
