The recall is for more than 680,000 Oball Rattles.

WNEM is reporting that toy company, Kids II issued the recall for Oball Rattles after 42 reports of the plastic breaking were received. When the plastic broke on the rattles, small plastic beads were released causing a choking hazard.

Toys affected by the recall are the Oball Rattles in pink, blue, green and orange with model number 81031 printed on the packaging.  Only rattles with date codes T0486, T1456, T2316, T2856 and T3065 located on a small triangle on the inner surface of the rattle are included in the recall. These toys were sold at stores including Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and Amazon.

Kids II is urging parents to to see if your toy is in those affected by the recall. If it is immediatly take the toy away and return it to the store for a full refund. Customers who purchased the recalled products can call Kids II toll-free at 877-243-7314 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit their website.
