Ascension Genesys Offering Free Lung Cancer Screenings This Weekend

It's lung cancer awareness month and Ascension Genesys is being proactive.

They're offering a free lung cancer screening this Saturday, November 23rd from 10 AM til 2 PM. The requirements are as follows:

• Be between the ages of 55 - 77
• Currently a smoker or have quit within the past 15 years
• Have, at minimum, a 30-plus pack-year smoking history

There's no cost or early registration required.

I smoked for 20 years and I think that this is a great idea. Just wish I was 55 so I could get the screening!
