Ariana Grande Adorably Teases Clueless Pete Davidson on ‘Harry Potter’ Trivia (WATCH)
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson may well be in the running for cutest Harry Potter couple, but when it comes to Potter trivia, it's safe to say Grande has her man beat.
In a comic clip posted to Twitter on Thursday (June 7), the "Light Is Coming" musician cast quite the spell on the Saturday Night Live funnyman, who went on a hilarious 31-second tirade about his lack of familiarity and knowledge about Harry Potter fun facts.
"I don't know these weird facts that you know. They don't advance the story at all. Like, me knowing what like, Professor Quirrell's favorite scarf is," Davidson rants, as Grande bursts into giggles in the video. "This is not what Harry Potter was to me. You know, I've seen each movie like, 20 times, but I'm sorry I don't know what like, Dumbledore's like, cat when he was 4's name is. Because it just didn't advance the f**king story. I could tell you who killed Harry's parents!"
Despite Davidson's poor trivia insight on the cult-followed series, the couple has bonded over their shared appreciation of J.K. Rowling's magical fantasy novel series in the past. In fact, it was with a Harry Potter-inspired picture that they confirmed their relationship.
"The chamber of secrets has been opened …" Davidson captioned a photo of him and the "No Tears Left to Cry" songbird dressed in Hogwarts robes and attire: Grande, wearing a Slytherin sweatshirt, Davidson in another repping Gryffindor.
Since announcing their courtship, the 24-year-olds have been practically inseparable and spend a lot of time together on social media. Just last week, in fact, the artist and her dream lover shared a kiss pic on Instagram and soon after, the comedian signed his love for Grande in ink when he tattooed the performer's initials on his hand.
