Ally Challenge Partners with Folds of Honor for Patriotic Event

The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren is heading back to Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club with more than just incredible professional golf and exciting concerts this summer. New this year, the tournament is adding an inspirational and powerful experience for everyone that is all about honoring our American heroes.

For 2024 the tournament is set to welcome the new Folds of Honor experience, adding a meaningful and heartwarming layer to the event. Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Their mission now expands to the families of America’s first responders.

Not only will Folds of Honor be part of the tournament, but the man behind the mission, Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, will be in attendance. Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, a decorated military officer, is known for his compelling and inspirational speeches and will be the speaker at a very special breakfast event to kick off Fold of Honor Friday at the tournament.

Lt. Col. Dan Rooney has an extensive heroic resume as a decorated F-16 pilot with 3 combat tours over Iraq. He is also a Class A member of the PGA is is the only fighter pilot and PGA professional ever, not to mention one inspiring man.

Folds of Honor Friday at the Ally Challenge presented by McLaren offers a special day of celebrating America in a big way. The day will consist of;

Enhanced Opening Ceremony with National Anthem
Honorary Opening Tee Shot
Official Folds of Honor Pins
17th Hole Birdie Donation

Fans attending the tournament in Grand Blanc are encouraged to wear Red, White, and Blue to carry the patriotic theme throughout the grounds on Friday. Attending the breakfast will require a ticket, but it will be good for the full day at the tournament including the Concert @17 that night featuring Smash Mouth.
