After taking a couple of years off due to the pandemic, Michigan's Summer Beer Festival returns to Ypsilanti.

It's official the 23rd Annual Michigan Summer Beer Festival is back. According to the Michigan Brewers Guild, the event hosts many of  Michigan's finest breweries sampling over hundreds of fresh, local Michigan beers. Food is available for purchase inside the festival, and guests can enjoy live music from a variety of Michigan bands.

When is Michigan's Summer Beer Festival?

Michigan's Summer Beer Festival will take place on Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23rd.

On Friday, July 22, Michigan's Summer Beer Festival runs from 5 to 9 pm.

On Saturday, July 23, Michigan's Summer Beer Festival takes place from 1 - 6 pm.

How Much Are Tickets to Michigan's Summer Beer Festival?

Tickets are $50 for Friday and $55 for Saturday. Tickets include tokens for 15 3-ounce beer samples. Additional tokens will be available for 50 cents each.

Designated driver tickets are also available for $10. You must be 21 or older and with someone who has a full price ticket to purchase a DD ticket. I think it' so awesome that they offer a separate ticket price for designated drivers.

Where Does Michigan's Summer Beer Festival Take Place?

The Summer Beer Festival takes place rain or shine in the outdoor setting of Ypsilanti's Riverside Park in historic Depot Town.

The 23rd Annual Michigan Summer Beer Festival is the oldest of the Michigan Brewers Guild's five annual festivals.

All festival attendees must be 21 or older to enter, even if they are designated drivers and are not drinking.

Summer can't get here soon enough.
