The winning ticket for Saturday's (10/7) Powerball drawing is worth $1 million. It was purchased at Northview Wine Shoppe in Macomb. The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were 47, 54, 57, 60, and 65. The Red Powerball number was 19 and the Power Play option was 3X.
How Many Million Dollar Tickets Were Sold?
In addition to the $1 million winning ticket sold in Michigan, there were nine other $1 million dollar tickets sold in California, Kansas, Louisana, Massachusettes, Ohio, Texas, and Wisconsin. Two players in Massachusetts and Texas were lucky enough to snag $1 million winning tickets.
However, no one won Powerball's grand prize, matching all the numbers to claim the $1.4 billion jackpot. Tonight's jackpot (10/9) swells to $1.55 billion.
Record-Setting, Back-to-Back Jackpots
No one has claimed the Powerball jackpot since July 19 when a single ticket sold in California was worth $1.08 billion.
This is the first time in Powerball history that back-to-back jackpots have grown to more than $1 billion.
