TSA Reportedly Firing 25 Workers At Newark International Airport

Perhaps if you've traveled lately, you have your own complaints about the security you encountered at the airport. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) is reportedly ready to clean up some security problems with staffing at the Newark airport.A recent ABC News story went undercover to disclose a large amount of theft occurring with officers. At least 25 people are expected to be released from their duties.at the TSA.

A news release from the TSA announces the proposed decision was made because of  "individuals violating standard operating procedures for screening checked bags at one of the airport's 25 baggage screening rooms."

It is pretty well documented that a number of thefts have occurred through the security crews and it appears a crackdown is underway.
