Tigers Lose 2 In A Row To Royals At Home

Kansas City Royals v Detroit Tigers

At least the game on Saturday was fairly close.  Today the Tigers were never really in it.  4 errors, mediocre pitching and spotty hitting let Kansas City get away with a 9-5 win over the Tigers.  Rick Porcello takes the loss and now sports an 0-2 record.  The Tigers are in last place in the American League Central with a 3-6 record.

Things don’t get any easier for the Tigers as the slugging Texas Rangers come to town tomorrow  for a 1 pm contest.  The Rangers are in first place in the AL West with an 8-1 record.
