August 24, 2011 A few weeks ago it was announced that Boston Bruins player Tim Thomas was returning home to Davison and bringing along the Stanley Cup. The day has finally come where people have flocked to Davison High School for a chance to see Tim. The Flint Journal reports the event honoring him will start at 1pm.

June 23, 2011 Davison High School graduate Tim Thomas just keeps adding hardware to his trophy case. After helping his Boston Bruins win the Stanley Cup, he was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the playoffs. Now the NHL has recognized Thomas as the leagues top netminder, awarding him the Vezina Trophy.
June 16, 2011 Davison High School graduate Tim Thomas helped lead the Boston Bruins to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 39 years. Not only did Thomas play brilliantly in goal against the Vancouver Canucks, but he was named the Most Valuable Player of the series. Thomas recorded his second shutout of the series with a 4-0 game seven win. It was the first Stanley Cup Championship for Boston since 1972.
