More than 40,000 walkers are expected to participate in this year's Labor Day bridge walk.

The 55th annual Labor Day walk across the Mackinac Bridge is Monday, September 3rd, beginning at 7 am.  The Bridge, The Mighty Mac is an icon for Michiganders, and the opportunity to traverse it on foot presents itself every Labor Day.
