Person Charged in Robbery of Couple Who Just Moved to Flint [Video]

Do you remember the story of the couple who recently moved here and were robbed within 24 hours? Now, a warrant has been issued for the person responsible in the incident, according to ABC-12. 

John Poupore and his girlfriend bought the home online and while they were trying to move into their new house, someone pulled a gun out and robbed them. John was ready to move after this terrible incident happened and was looking for help from various organizations.

The Genesee County Prosecutor's office issued a warrant to an 18-year-old who is currently in jail. Charges against him include, armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, felony firearm and two other charges.

Gensee County Prosecutor David Leyton talks about the incident:

'"As soon as they arrived, their stuff was pilfered right off that school bus and it was a terrible welcome to town.'"

In the meantime, Poupore and his girlfriend have been given a home.
