A nine-year-old boy in Gastonia, North Carolina has been suspended for calling his teacher cute. A substitute teacher overheard the boy telling another student that a teacher was cute, so he was suspended for inappropriate behavior.

The school called the mother and told her the comment is a form of sexual harassment, according to WSOC. The school gave him a five day out of school suspension, calling the comment a disruption in school.  Even though he told another student he thought a teacher was cute, do you think he should have been suspended? It's not like he went up to the teacher and told her to her face she was cute. Do you think the school overreacted?
